Range: Alaska to Baja California
Habitat: Rocky shore and sandy beaches
Diet: Fish, squid and octopus
Size: Males up to 8 ft (2.4 m) and females up to 6 ft (1.8 m)
Fun Fact: Sea lions can move both on land and in water. Their front flippers help propel them through the water while their rear flippers help them steer. Both sets of flippers help them to walk around on land.
