Join KCRW for an oceanic party at Cabrillo Marine Aquarium! Dance to sets from KCRW DJs Chris Douridas & Dan Wilcox and explore the watery wonders of the aquarium and our local beaches. There’ll be a whole lot of love on the sand as thousands of silvery grunion fish hurl themselves ashore for their strange and fascinating mating ritual. Plus, enjoy food trucks and a bar. Start the summer with a party by the beach you won’t want to miss!
During this special evening, you’ll be able to hatch grunion eggs, participate in grunion arts and crafts, watch a classic grunion video, touch leopard sharks and see some of the fish and other marine animals in the Aquarium.
Make the most of the party by being a member of KCRW and Cabrillo Marine Aquarium. Save $30 on a joint membership here — offer ends June 11th at 12 PM.
