Planned Giving

Friends of Cabrillo Marine Aquarium welcomes gifts made through wills and trusts which can provide a permanent legacy for the Aquarium.

Endowments

You can also support the various programs of the Aquarium by contributing to one of the established endowments.

John Olguin Junior Docent Program Scholarships

The Olguin Endowment was created to provide scholarship opportunities to students desiring to participate in the Docent programs who do not have the capability to pay necessary fees.

Christiane Rinkes Memorial Fund Scholarship

The Rinkes Scholarship provides an annual scholarship to one or more students to support studies toward an undergraduate or graduate degree at an accredited College or University, preferably in the Life Sciences.

Dr. Carl and Marge Lundgren Marine Research Endowment Fund

This fund provides monetary support of various research programs of the Cabrillo Marine Aquarium.

Dr. Susanne Lawrenz-Miller Education Endowment

The primary purpose of the endowment is to provide continued education and enrichment opportunities to the professional staff of Cabrillo Marine Aquarium.

John T. Funkhouser Endowment Fund

The Funkhouser Endowment was created to fund student participation in scientific research through projects/learning opportunities recommended by the Aquarium staff.

Associated Foundations Endowment

The primary purpose of this endowment is to provide support to the Young Scientists Program.
