Habitat: Lives on giant kelp and in the low intertidal
Diet: Brown algae
Size: Shell up to 2 in (5 cm) in diameter
Fun Fact: Migrates daily moving down the kelp during daytime and up the kelp at dusk using its radula, or file-like tongue, to eat the kelp. Will release its hold on kelp and fall to escape predators.
