Discover the wonder of California’s Channel Islands as you join us on a birding and photography adventure to the Channel Islands National Park. We’ll cruise to the island, then go ashore on a naturalist-led hike. Our focus will be to photograph the thousands of nesting Western Gulls and their chicks and to observe the natural beauty and amazing ocean and island views. CMA’s wildlife photographer will be available for a wildlife photography workshop. In addition to island wildlife, we will keep our eyes peeled on the crossing for marine mammals and birds! This trip leaves from Oxnard harbor at 9:30am.
Fee: $78 ($70 Friends members). Open to hikers 13+; anyone under 18 must be accompanied by an adult. Space is limited, registration is required.
